Disc Golf 2010 Swiss Open
The 2010 Disc Golf Swiss Open will be held the 15-16 of May. This will be the 3rd event of the EuroTour. This is an A-tier Tournament held in Geneva Switzerland. The field will be limited to 108 players. The hosting disc golf club is ‘Disc Golf Geneve’. Last years total purse was $8,578.
Last year in the Open division Jesper Lundmark of Sweden took first place for a prise of $995. In second place at 2 strokes back was Ville Piippo of Finland for a prise of $711. In the Pro Women Division Birgitta Lagerholm of Sweden took first place with a prise of $370. In the Masters Division Marco Lehousse of Belgium took first place with a 10 stroke lead for a prise of $569.
Jesper Lundmark with a PDGA rating of 1033 is the favorite to defend his title this year. Same with Birgitta Lagerholm with a PDGA rating of 947. And Marco Lehousse being the only player with a rating of over 1000 in the masters division will be the favorite to defend his title at this tournament.

Sylvain Gouge wins the open division in a playoff with Oscar Stenfelt. In the womens open division Birgittta Lagerholm wins by 12 strokes and is the only women under par. Kari Vesala wins the mansters by four strokes.
